Over the past month, several rumors and alleged leaks about the new Xiaomi 13T lineup have surfaced on the internet. Now, the release date, official renders and specifications of Xiaomi's new premium products have been leaked.
According to information from X user Paras Guglani, the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro should launch as early as September. In addition, the Xiaomi 13T Pro should bring new features such as the use of OLED technology, a new triple camera system and a longer-lasting battery.
What to expect from the Xiaomi 13T Pro
6.67-inch OLED display
According to the leak we can see in the image above, the Xiaomi 13T Pro will have a 6.67-inch OLED display. This new technology has been adopted by different smartphone manufacturers. The reason is that it offers a much better image quality, less black borders around the screen and the possibility of making flexible screens or in different formats.
The display should have a resolution of 1.5K, with a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits, 144 Hz and HDR10+, a combination that will provide improved contrast and clarity.
Dimensity 9200 processor
As for the processor, the new smartphone will feature the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. It will also have storage options of 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB internal storage.
Sony triple camera system
If confirmed, the Xiaomi 13T Pro is also promising in terms of cameras. According to the alleged official renders and leaked information, the smartphone will have a triple camera on the back, consisting of:
- Main camera: 50MP Sony IMX707 OIS.
- Ultra wide-angle camera: 13MP Omnivision OV138
- Telephoto camera: 50MP Omnivision OVSOD
The front camera will be the 20MP Sony IMX596. One of the differences between the Xiaomi 13T Pro and the Xiaomi 13T is that the Pro version also features the Leica camera setup and color science technology.
Other specifications
The Xiaomi 13T Pro will also feature a powerful 5,000 mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. Other leaked information includes the presence of dual 5G and 4G connectivity, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision support for a better multimedia experience, and WiFi 6E and NFC capabilities. The phone should also have an impressive IP&( certification for water and dust resistance.

6.7-inch AMOLED display
The Xiaomi 13T will have a 6.7-inch display with AMOLED technology. It will have a 1.5K resolution and an impressive 144 Hz refresh rate.
MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra processor.
While the Xiaomi 13T Pro's processor is even more advanced, the Xiaomi 13T is no slouch and should feature the high-end MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra processor. The RAM will be 8 GB, while the internal storage will be 256 GB.
Triple camera system
The Xiaomi 13T should also feature a triple camera system, consisting of:
- 50 MP camera with wide-angle optics and optical image stabilization (OIS).
- 50 MP camera with 2x optical magnification
- 12 MP ultra wide-angle camera
The front camera of this model should also be 20 MP.
Other specifications
Like its Xiaomi 13T Pro line mate, the Xiaomi 13T will have a 5,000 mAh capacity battery with 120W fast charging.
Although the leak indicates that the Xiaomi 13T line should launch in September, there are no confirmed dates. Other reports indicate that the launch could be on the 16th of this month. Another leak suggests the 26th. Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the dates or information.
Shrouded in hype, the Xiaomi 13T Pro should be a major competitor to the popular OnePlus 11 and Moto Edge 40 Ultra. Moreover, the news of its launch comes very close to Apple's official event to present the new iPhone 15 range and Google's event to announce the new Pixel 8.
