As expected, Apple is expected to announce the launch of the iPhone 15 and all the news of this new range in September, specifically on the 13th. The information comes from 9to5Mac, a website known for publishing news from the Apple world.
According to the site, multiple sources have confirmed that smartphone workers are being advised not to take a vacation on that day, because the date should be marked by a major launch. Add this to the fact that it's been almost a year since the iPhone 14 was released, and it's not hard to imagine that we'll know all about the iPhone 15 very soon.
What new features the iPhone 15 could bring
Although all the details about the new range of iPhones will not be confirmed until the presentation event, some information and rumors have already spread on the Internet.
In total, there will be four new models - iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. All of them will incorporate Samsung Display's OLED technology. This means better image quality (with more vivid colors and truer blacks) and the possibility of further reducing the so-called bezels (the black borders around the screen).
Another big expectation revolves around the possibility that the iPhone 15s will incorporate the long-awaited USB Type-C, a universal charging and data transfer port.
The cameras in the new lineup should also be new. All models should have a high-end photo sensor. There are reports that even the most basic models in the new series should have a sensor with specs similar to what we saw in the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max models.
The 15th generation iPhone will also differ from its predecessor in that it will support images up to 48 megapixels, a higher resolution than previous models offered. All models will have a larger focal aperture, which should provide better image quality even in low-light environments. The iPhone 15 Pro Max model should also incorporate new periscopic lenses to improve zoom quality.
When the iPhone 15 should arrive in stores.
If Apple confirms the launch event for September 13, the new models are expected to arrive in physical stores a week later, on September 22. Pre-orders should be possible from the 15th. The prediction of these dates is based on what Apple has been doing with its latest releases.
