You can use Galaxy Note8 apps on any Samsung with Android Nougat, that's what we will talk about here. Samsung Galaxy Note8, the biggest and most Galaxy S8 and of course, it features the brand's proprietary stylus, the S-Pen. Not to mention its range of Apps preinstalled on this smartphone with the vast majority productivity-oriented and coveted.
Do you want the Galaxy Note8 Apps on your Samsung?
Unable to resist the potential of these Galaxy Note8 Apps, a group of software developers and programmers from the XDA community were intrigued by the potential of these Apps and decided to create a way to make them compatible with other Samsung devices running the Android Nougat operating system (Android 7.0 and above).
It didn't take long before they were able to guarantee the portability of the Apps from the Galaxy Note8 phablet to any and all Samsung smartphones running the Android Nougat operating system. Mind you, you will need root permissions (root access) to your device to install them.
The developers have managed to extract, ensure portability and create the installation package of all these Apps, just four days after the official launch of the Galaxy Note8:
- Phone and Contacts
- Incoming call UI (interface)
- Browser (browser)
- Clock - Calendar
- TouchWiz Home
- Lightning Edge
- Tasks Edge
- People Edge
- S-Finder
- Samsung Theme Store
- Smart Manager
- Keyboard
- Gallery
- Calculator
- Weather
How to install Galaxy Note8 Apps on my Samsung?
The prerequisites before installing the firmware (system software) are simple. Your smartphone must be running Android Nougat (Android 7.0) operating system, be rooted (have root permissions) and have TWRP installed.
Next, you can download the ZIP file, move the file to your smartphone's memory and then uninstall the current Calculator and Browser from your smartphone.
Next, turn on your smartphone in recovery mode and press Install. Select the ZIP file you downloaded here and moved to the device's internal storage and press Install. Restart your smartphone to complete the installation.
Turn your Samsung with Android Nougat into a Galaxy Note8 "Lite".
The installation is done at your own risk although the procedure is simple for those who already have root on their smartphone.
Anyway, here the goal will be to give you a little (or even a lot) of what the Galaxy Note8 is capable of. Of course, this installation will not give you an S-Pen but it will already save you a few bucks.
